Along with resurfacing works of the primary schools yard in Gronau, we have designed and planned the entire external design. In the central area a wide and spacious „fortress“ was created, which invites to jump, play, sit, playing tag and ball games.
Especially the „battlements“ surrounding the fortress are appreciated by the head teacher: „due to the interestingly created row of concrete blocks children are stimulated to moving and action. They have lined up to jump and run over and across the battlements! As our children are given free play to run loose, the concentration level during classes is higher“.
Moving opportunities are complemented by a synthetic running lane which children can use for sporting activities. Restructuring given and new playing equipment into a playing ground, equalizes the different groups of interest in the school yard.
